Folks began sharing their memories of sanders on our our facebook page and haven’t stopped. He held a special place in the Alberta community.“He was just a staple,” Tuscaloosa City Councilman Kip Tyner said about his longtime friend. Also he was one of the absolute nicest, most gentle men I’ve ever known. He was so kind, and loved what he was doing and his customers as much as they loved him.”Tyner says Sanders has been selling produce in the area for at least 20 years.
